For two to four people, the Dzire is the sensible pick - comfortable on the Guwahati highway, easy through Shillong's narrow older streets, and the most economical car we run with a driver.
A proper boot takes two large suitcases plus cabin bags, which covers most couples and small families arriving through Guwahati. It handles the Shillong-Sohra and Shillong-Dawki day trips without complaint, and for airport transfers at odd hours it is what we send most often.
For longer mountain routes - Kaziranga, and especially Tawang - we will steer you to an SUV instead. On a six-hour day the extra height and suspension travel matter, and we would rather tell you that upfront than have you spend the trip wishing we had.

How many people can travel in the Dzire?+
Up to four guests plus the driver, with two large suitcases in the boot. For five or more, or for a group with a lot of luggage, take the Ertiga or an Innova.
Is a sedan comfortable on Meghalaya's hill roads?+
For day trips from Shillong, yes - the Sohra and Dawki roads are tarred and a sedan runs them fine. For Kaziranga and Tawang we recommend an SUV instead, and we will say so when you tell us your route.
Is the Dzire the cheapest option?+
It is our most economical car with a driver. There is no fixed rate card - the quote depends on route, days and season - but if budget is the deciding factor for two to four people, this is the vehicle to ask about.
Can I take the Dzire without a driver?+
No. We do not offer self-drive on any vehicle. Every car goes out with an experienced local driver, and driver charges are already inside the quote.
Do you do airport pickups in the Dzire at night?+
Yes, at any hour. We track your flight, so a delay does not cost you the car.
