A honeymoon does not need a different map of Meghalaya, it needs a different pace. This is the classic Shillong-Sohra-Dawki circuit rebuilt for two: later starts, the viewpoints timed for when the tour buses have left, a riverside night at Shnongpdeng, and enough unscheduled hours that the trip does not feel like a schedule.

Is the car private on a honeymoon package?+
Always. One car and one driver for the two of you, for the whole trip. We do not run shared or group vehicles on these.
Is a riverside camp comfortable enough for a honeymoon?+
The Shnongpdeng camps are simple - a proper tent, a bed, a bonfire and the river a few steps away - not a hotel. Most couples rate it the best night of the trip, but if you would rather have solid walls we will point you to a village homestay or a Dawki-side guest house instead - you book the one you prefer. Say which when you plan the trip with us.
When is the best time for a Meghalaya honeymoon?+
October to April. Clear skies, the Umngot at its most transparent, and comfortable nights for camping. Monsoon is dramatic but it takes the river and many of the viewpoints away.
Can we start later in the mornings?+
Yes - that is the main thing this package changes. The only genuinely early start we suggest keeping is Laitlum, because the cloud below the ridge is worth it and it is gone by mid-morning.
Can you arrange anything special - a cake, decorations, a private dinner?+
Tell us in advance and we will try. We are a car and itinerary agency rather than a hotel, so special touches depend on the property you book - but tell us in advance, we will help you set it up, and we will be straight with you about what is actually possible.
How much does the honeymoon package cost?+
