Force Tempo Travellers in 12 and 17-seat layouts, with pushback seats, decent legroom and a roof carrier for the luggage a large group inevitably brings. They handle the Shillong-Sohra and Shillong-Dawki roads comfortably, and our drivers are used to running them on hill gradients.
For groups larger than 17, we run more than one vehicle with the drivers coordinating between them, so the group still moves as a single unit. Tell us the head count and we will work out the right combination.

How many seats does the Tempo Traveller have?+
We run 12-seat and 17-seat Force Tempo Travellers, both with pushback seats. The 12-seater has noticeably more legroom and luggage room per person, so for a long circuit with a group of 12 we would suggest it over squeezing into a 17.
Can a Tempo Traveller manage the road to Cherrapunji and Dawki?+
Yes. Both roads are tarred and Tempo Travellers run them daily. The Sohra descent and the Dawki road are winding, so the drive is a little slower than in a car - allow some extra time in the plan.
Is there luggage space for a full group?+
Yes - a rear boot plus a roof carrier. Large groups usually need the carrier, so tell us the bag count and we will make sure the vehicle goes out fitted for it.
Do you provide more than one vehicle for bigger groups?+
Yes. Above 17 guests we run multiple vehicles with the drivers coordinating, so the group stays together through the day rather than splitting up.
Is the driver included?+
Always. Every Tempo Traveller goes out with an experienced driver, and driver charges are already in the quote along with fuel, parking and tolls.
