Most people looking for a car in Shillong want the same thing: a vehicle for the day or the week, and someone who knows the roads driving it. That is exactly what we do. Every car in our fleet goes out with an experienced local driver, and the quote you get covers fuel, parking, tolls and the driver - there is no meter and no settling up afterwards.
What we do not do is self-drive. Meghalaya's roads are narrow, wet for much of the year, and regularly inside a cloud; the descent to Sohra and the run down to Dawki are not places to learn a route. Our drivers do these corridors weekly, and they are the reason guests keep naming them in our reviews. We do not offer bikes or scooters either.
We are based in Laban, Shillong, and we cover all of Meghalaya plus Assam and Arunachal Pradesh - Guwahati airport runs, the Cherrapunji and Dawki day circuits, Kaziranga safaris and the long haul over Sela Pass to Tawang, with Inner Line Permits arranged.

Do you offer self-drive cars in Shillong?+
No. We are not a self-drive company - every car we send out comes with an experienced local driver, and that is the only way we operate. Meghalaya's roads are winding, frequently wet and often in cloud, and a driver who runs them every week is genuinely safer than a navigation app. We do not offer bikes or scooters either.
What does a car with driver cost in Meghalaya?+
There is no fixed rate card and no per-kilometre meter. The quote depends on your route, the number of days, the vehicle and the season - and it always includes fuel, parking, tolls and driver charges, so the number you agree is the number you pay. Which cars do you have?+
Dzire sedans for up to 4 guests, a Brezza compact SUV, Ertiga for 6-7, both a standard Toyota Innova and an Innova Crysta for 6-7, an Endeavour premium SUV, and Force Tempo Travellers seating 12 to 17. Every one of them goes out with a driver.
Can we book a car for several days?+
Yes - most of our work is multi-day. The same car and the same driver stay with you for the whole trip, including night halts. The driver's accommodation and meals are our responsibility, not yours.
Do you pick up from Guwahati airport?+
Yes, at any hour. Guwahati Airport (GAU) to Shillong is about 123 km and 3.5 hours. We track your flight number, so a delayed landing does not cost you the car. We also pick up from Guwahati railway station and Shillong's Umroi Airport.
What areas do you cover?+
All of Meghalaya, plus Assam (Guwahati, Kaziranga, Tezpur) and Arunachal Pradesh (Bomdila, Dirang, Tawang, with Inner Line Permits arranged). If your route runs outside the Northeast, we are not the right agency.
Is there a minimum booking?+
A single airport transfer is fine, and so is a four-day circuit. Tell us what you need.
How do I pay?+
Nothing is charged when you enquire. You get a written all-inclusive quote first, and payment terms are confirmed with it. There is no meter running and no top-up demanded at the end of the drive.
